They work much better than the plastic shirts that come with the shirt. They are stiffer and don't curl. I haven't accidentally left any out in the wash yet, so I have no idea how they'll hold up through the wash and dry cycle. They were very clear on the sizes and quantities of each, so I can't complain about that. However, after receiving and using them, I have yet to use ONE of the two shorter sizes. If I had to do it all over again I would look for a set with many long sizes and omit the shorter ones altogether. Overall they appear to be a quality collar spring set.
