Pros: Base is heavy and has rubber feet, works the same as most universal docks. Contains different base plates for different iPod models Cons: short cable (just over 3ft) Technically this works with my iphone 3GS. When connected, iPhone will display a message stating the accessory is not compatible and ask if you want to switch to airplane mode to reduce audio interference. I didn't quite understand what it was, but I didn't switch to airplane mode and the audio seems to be working fine. The iPod Touch base (logically) fits the iPhone. Unfortunately, the case I have on my iPhone (CaseMate Barely There Acrylic Case) doesn't fit the bottom panel of the iPod Touch, so I didn't install the bottom panel at all (not perfect, but it works). In fact, this particular iPhone case is virtually non-existent, so I can safely say that this will be a problem for *all* iPhone cases. The remote control for my stereo does not control iPod functions while my phone is docked like it should (so yes, I think the accessory is actually incompatible). At the time of this review, the TDM-iP50 reviews have one person claiming it works with 3gs and one person claiming it doesn't. I suspect the 3gs situation there is the same as this dock, so I will not be making an exchange.
