Kayaking with my phone would be a lot cheaper if I dropped my phone now! The quality of this case is pretty good and exceeded my expectations. The strap is also of good quality. The locking mechanism seems reliable, although I was expecting to see additional seals, but when I tested it worked well and didn't appear to need any additional seals to remain watertight. I suggest choosing a nice contrasting color for the environment you intend to use it in as I chose white to make it stand out from the water or my kayak. For snowboarding or skiing I would suggest a darker color to contrast with the snow. I can thank my wife for pointing out that if I drop it while driving in the snow this winter, it might be difficult to find. Cheap insurance - and it works!
