we purchased this set as a Christmas gift for our grandsons. I'm so glad we shopped early, and tested the products out before giving them to someone. This particular set does not have strong magnets and does NOT stay together well at all. I was very disappointed because I really love the Ferris wheel design. Best Buy refunded us promptly and we were able to order a better set before it turned into an embarrassing Christmas memory. The concept is great, the product just doesn't hold up. shop early, read reviews and test things out when you can. (obviously, some things can't be tested first) An pre-opened gift that works is far better than a wrapped in plastic disaster.
