Hobot -298 works very well. The micro weave does a really good job and the device looks well made. Its automatic dispenser emits a fine stream as it moves across the window's surface. Works best on large windows. Small windows seem to confuse the sensors. Our small non-opening windows are clearly recessed into the wall as this is the design chosen by the client. It looks great but seems to limit Hobots' style a bit. It works great on large picture windows and tall vertical windows like storm doors. It also works great with large bathroom mirrors. I've heard the argument that a human can clean a window faster than a robot, and it's true. But with a windowed robot, you can do other things at the same time. This increases productivity. Example; While the robot cleaned a very large window in the living room, I did the laundry and watched dinner on the stove. A beep will alert you when the robot is finished or needs attention. He hasn't fallen out of the window yet. A backup battery is available in case of a power failure. A security cable is included, but it's inconvenient to use. Why hook up? If you don't have a curtain rod over the window, there's no way to attach the rope. I took it off I'll take another block for the street, but probably not this model. This one is expensive, so a cheaper model can get dirty on the outside and live in a garage when not in use.
