This cable works fine, but if my Mac mini isn't working as well, it's probably due to some kind of HDMI limitation. It's just that I had an issue with my Mac mini where it said the resolution and frequency weren't compatible. Remember that the monitor works well with all computers at 1080@60Hz and the Mac mini can output to another monitor at the same frequency and resolution. If I had to guess, I think the Mac mini's video output works like this: it sends out a signal and the monitor tells it whether it can receive it or not. My guess is that they reported the answer to that question and the Mac mini didn't try to adapt. The solution I found was to use USB-C to DVI (monitor).
