Received the shoes today. My son tried them on and they look and feel great. He took them off and I picked them up to put in his room. The creases of the shoe when putting it on and taking it off are greyed out. Black paint is literally erased by hand. So, we have brand new black shoes with gray pleats. And if you scratch anything with this shoe, that part of the shoe will also be gray.
