SoHome Pet Bed is made in China of 100% polyester. There is no removable cover but the entire bed is machine washable in cold water though air drying is recommended.I got the 30” x 21” x2.5” size which is just right for my three pound Maltese dog. It also is an easy size to fit in the washing machine.One side is fluffy and would make a good bed especially in colder weather. The other side is a smooth fabric with a paw print. The smooth side is a better choice for dogs to use chew toys since the nylon side won’t get their bones, etc. fuzzy. Also the smooth side is easy to wipe off. I did have to cut several long strings off of this mat. I think that it was just a matter of the sewing being less than neat rather than a defect in the construction. Hopefully it won’t affect the durability.SoHome Pet Bed Plush Fill Reversible Crate Mat is a basic polyester one piece mat. It is reversible to offer a choice of textures. The smallest size fits easily in a washing machine and is not too large to air dry. My small dog seems to find it comfortable.
