Two years later the top door jamb broke on a clean break. Went online to try and find a replacement door. This is one of the best trays I've ever owned. This helps suppress odors and deters crazed cats from throwing trash everywhere while circling around trying to cover up their business. Adding trash from large containers over 14 pounds isn't as easy as filling it. 4 stars out of 5 Daily cleaning Long-term cleaning is a challenge. Poop is not permanent in the long term. Sometimes cats have an upset stomach. It's good when the system fails. When things get dirty, they can get caught in many very small cracks and crevices in the device. Our 18-year-old girl had urinary problems before she died, and it was in the small spaces as well. Cleaning in these cases requires complete disassembly (which is as easy as installing). They need a lot of space and more than just soap and water. A brush small enough to get into hard-to-reach places and strong enough to remove hardened residue from plastic. It cleans fantastically, although the plastic has eroded from cat claws and the box has become discolored. Difficult but doable.
