I received this hair dryer brush in just one day and had to try it right away. I washed and condition my hair but didn't add any other hair products. I have very thick, medium length hair. To speed up the process, I used a hair dryer for a few minutes to get rid of the excess moisture. Then I parted my hair into strands and according to the instructions, made the back strand first, then the sides, three strands at a time, starting with the bottom layers. It didn't take long to get used to it. I used the high setting and it gets very hot. It took me no longer than usual to get my hair done and the end result is very smooth, soft, shiny, straight hair. A definite improvement over the way my hair looked!
