Cons: Regrettably, these headphones are best suited for use in a calm environment, such as an apartment or while walking in the woods. Its noise attenuation is completely ineffective in the already loud Hong Kong transportation system, particularly the metro. The clatters, whistles, and other sounds that can be found in the subway are unmistakably audible. It would appear that the only solution is to use earplugs when listening to music that falls into the category of "peaceful ambient." On the other hand, if your band plays powerful rock music that is packed with a variety of sounds, you won't have any trouble using these.
