Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ARE05 81W4007ARK 15" IPS SSD 512GB Ryzen 4300U Integrated a 16 GB memory stick. This device has a total of 18GB of memory (4 soldered + 16 + 2 for video). Linux mint 20, Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Xubuntu, etc. are all based on Ubuntu 20.04, thus using them should be a breeze. Keep in mind that they are all running the 5.4 kernel, which does NOT have Vega graphics support enabled by default. Solution: In the kernel boot parameters, enter amdgpu. Exp hw support=1. the brightness controls aren't functioning, though. 2) Upgrade to kernel version 5.5 or later. I aimed for 5.72022, and so far, so good.
- Reasonably priced, good screen, respectable performance, and minimal weight.
- Although there is a slot for a SATA drive, the kit does not come with the necessary cable. Minimalist BIOS in terms of features.
