The Futoro strap is highly adjustable with Velcro straps that run underfoot and around the ankle, complemented by short laces at the front of the ankle. Once the strap is properly adjusted, it can be put on and taken off relatively quickly and easily without additional adjustment. The materials, including the Velcro, appear to be of good quality. The level of support is less than a fully laced ankle brace but still significant. I gave the harness four stars instead of five for two reasons: a) the manufacturer gives almost no instructions or suggestions on how to most effectively adjust the harness or put it on your leg, other than a few photos on the packaging; and b) the main Velcro at the front of the ankle tends to come loose during certain athletic activities such as hiking. If you wear the strap directly on the foot instead of over a sock (the latter is recommended by the manufacturer in the photos) and pull the sock over the strap, the sock will hold the Velcro in place. With a little experimentation, you can likely determine the most effective method of adjusting the straps.
