I have an SMSL SP200 amp but my planar headphones sounded too tight so I decided to buy this amp after finding online reviews about it . It came in two fully assembled boxes and all you had to do was plug in the power cable and connect it to an external DAC or use the built in DAC. When you open the box you will be blinded by a pair of white gloves. They've paid serious attention to detail with this amp, and it shows. It sounds warm in planar headphones and with good dynamics. at 9 o'clock it's pretty loud. It is a fingerprint magnet due to the glossy finishes, and the magic key tube is comfortable to the touch. By the way, I removed the tube cover, which is just audible on two screws and can be easily removed with a screwdriver. Sitting on the table, this thing can be the start of a conversation. It also has BT which is great for phones without a headphone jack.
