Late 2012 Mac mini - I sat in my desk drawer for 2 years because it was loading everything and everything so slowly. I needed a new computer, and surprisingly, this is it. After reading reviews about how easy it was to upgrade the memory, I gave it a try and it literally took longer to open the package than it did to open a Mac mini and to change the chips. The transition from 4GB to 16GB was IMMEDIATELY noticeable. The webpage took about 7-12 seconds to load. Now about 2-3 seconds. To be honest I was hoping for near-instant answers with today's technology, but even multi-site multitasking is fast. fast enough not to put it back in the drawer. I wish I had done this research on updating 5 years ago.
