The description says balls and spool but like the picture they only have one spool which was fine with me BUT there are a few pairs that didn't have a spool and were unusable are because they just look stupid. The only reason I didn't return them was because I had earrings ready and needed them for an upcoming event, so I just set aside the bare earrings without the spiral and used the one with the spirals. The ones with coils seem to work well but I wouldn't order again because when I buy something like this I want to be able to use 100% of the product, not just 75%.
