Works great on Windows. The Realtek driver must be installed as described here. There is no need to connect to the Internet during the driver installation, the device displays the connected hard disk with the driver software when connected. It also works great with Manjaro Linux without the need to install any additional drivers. (For openSUSE Tumbleweed I unplug the cable for now.) Good build quality.
