Excellent replacement for RTV sealant
I recently changed my PT Cruiser gear oil and filter and this gasket tries factory RTV instead. After driving for several weeks I have not noticed any problems with liquid leakage. This gasket replacement was a lot easier to manage than waiting for the RTV sealant to dry and should make transmission pan removal a lot easier in the future. As with any gasket, the sealing surfaces must be clean and undamaged.
