I was afraid they would look like the microfiber towels I use at home or my hair turban when I dry my wet hair. I have nothing against microfiber for these tasks, but not for use around the eyes. They are definitely SOFT and haven't lost their fluffiness even after a month of daily use. I spray some Shout and toss about 8-10 in a laundry bag. Wash for 25 minutes in eco-warm on "Fast" mode. Then I throw it in the dryer after washing, still in its laundry bag. They look almost new (I say almost because it's quite a bit of eyeliner and eyeshadow being removed from my face, lol, there should be a little smudge on it. Only once so far have I gotten the "cleaned" pad right again placed in the dirty pile because I wanted to see if the point of light would come out and it did). I try to only use one pad for both eyes each night. I add some Neutrogena eye makeup remover, then use one side to remove most of my eye makeup, then use the back of the cleansing pad, and sometimes I only need it for heavy waterproof makeup turn left. But I can get the job done with one! I let it dry on the counter overnight before throwing it in a laundry bag. I wash my pads once a week. I recently tried using the pad as an exfoliant while washing my face with soap and water and it worked well, but I mainly use it to remove eye makeup. Very easy and I feel so much better not having to use disposable cotton pads anymore.
