This item is amazing. I work from home from time to time and managed to get proprietary documentation for my laptop. My mother-in-law often travels from abroad and she just got a new laptop for the trip so she can work remotely. Instead of working with a laptop, I decided to try Universal Document. It has two display ports and one HDMI and can control all three monitors via USB-3 or USB-C. The monitors I am currently working on are a pair of Dell Ultrasharp U2715H monitors with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. Not sure of frequency. The spec says it can drive another monitor via HDMI. It also has Ethernet, audio, and USB ports for connecting multiple peripherals. I use it for what I would describe as casual web browsing for personal use and office productivity at work, not gaming or heavy video for me. I bought two other brands of universal paper and they couldn't match the screen resolution. I am very small and humble. Your laptop box has its own USB-C port and USB-3 plugs into it, so you don't have to search for the right cable to connect it. If you want to connect 2 high-resolution office monitors to one USBC/A-USB3 port, just make sure you have good quality video cables for it to work at its best. Cheap cables can fly at you and cause more trouble than they're worth (I speak from experience).
