volume and mute buttons work. Skip channel works. But I needed it to go into the sound settings to change the bass and treble. These functions did not work. But if you only need it for volume and channel switching, it will work. (To update). The remote worked with my other pioneer in my truck. I managed to change the settings and everything. But it didn't work on my Pioneer avic-d3.
