I liked that this was hands-on for all courses! There were many different opportunities to apply what we learned into our own projects/tasks as well as learning about new ways of doing things within each course. The amount of time you are allotted is not enough if your goal is to learn more than just theory but also how it applies to real life situations. This does limit students from taking additional classes or certifications with other companies which can be costly depending upon where they work (or want to). We had multiple people who took the class at once so there wasn't much one person could do alone - everyone needed help solving problems together. As an auditor myself prior to working at MISTI, my biggest problem has always been knowing when something isn’t right versus being able to prove why it might actually be wrong because sometimes even those trained professionals have trouble determining whether.
