After reading about this resistor on my KJ Jeeps forum I clicked the link to go here and bought the resistor for my 2006 Jeep Liberty. removed the screws from the old one so I could pull the assembly out and work on it. If you've never swapped out a resistor before, this is a challenge. You need to pull back/slide the red tab far enough to push the black lever high enough to release the locking tab and then unplug the connectors without tearing anything to pieces. After that I plugged this new one into the connector, . . . and it fits directly into the slot with no body modifications. Don't saw, don't cut. All four fan speeds are now working properly again.
