No tips. Cut. Spring. B Everything! This product receives a revised rating of 2.5 stars from the Fakespot web service. The reliability of the assessments is rated D. I can understand why. The ends are not cut. You simply twist the threads sideways between the blades. They cut lower down the blade like any other pair of scissors, but the cut doesn't feel "safe" or clean. I am sending these back. I just paid over $15 for a pair of Ginghers to replace and they are a dream come true! (Verified Purchase). I have to admit that the tips cut the paper so they could work on the sheer cut.
