I bought it because it's much easier and more accurate than having someone come out and help me set up the trailer at the campsite. This is especially helpful when I'm really alone and don't have anyone to help me. It took me a bit of time to install and I had to watch a video online on how to install it properly. I used to have one in my caravan but the cable failed and the camera shorted out rendering everything unusable. Even at night I can see clearly where everything is, it's just black and white, no color. With this camera I installed it on my trailer for about a month and not only have I had no problems but the picture quality was far from ideal. It was off on my previous picture, and when I thought I was close to the curb, I really wasn't. With this camera, where the camera says there's a curb, there it is. The monitor can be easily mounted on the dashboard. The camera was very easy to install on my trailer and no matter where I go or bumpy roads, I'm still there. Excellent picture quality, easy installation and no wiring problems.
