Available So I got a new job where I had to work with multiple devices (the contract was with Dell and the site released Mac and iPad) so I needed a keyboard and a mouse that would sit on my desk too have were no mess. I wanted to like this business. The workmanship looks very good, but is a bit light for my taste. I love how it prints and how it feels, but I take negatives straight out of the box. Three of its functions are very specific. #1 MUST be paired with a Dell Link Key. #2 and #3 MUST be Bluetooth. I bought this as a Revain warehouse deal and it arrived without some important details. There was no keyboard or keys in the box (don't cry for me Argentina, Revane found out they gave me a bad deal and gave it to me for free). But the missing key meant function #1 was useless without my key tracking. Now Dell used Logitech Unifying hardware in their materials but I guess they're tired of paying for a license or something. So they switched to their own 'Dell Link', but unfortunately since it's new and not used on much hardware, the keys are rare and expensive, making it impractical to look for. That may change over time, but the thought that such a small, easily replaceable part would be difficult to replace was a major disservice to me. Also, I have already lost the functionality of 1 device. The Dell provided by the company I work for has poor Bluetooth, but as I only use it as a watch and for official report files (which can be created and copied to Google Docs) I decided to skip pairing with it and just focus on using my website on Mac (it added an extra step to my workflow, but it was only a small step). However, the Mac sometimes had trouble waking up from key presses. I don't know if it was a keyboard or bluetooth issue. But still it was a problem. The iPad I used had uneven connectivity with this keyboard β maybe it was a warehouse deal, I don't know β but I typed whole words and sometimes even sentences, and the iPad just didn't pick them up. But when I plugged in an old portable Bluetooth keyboard, it worked the first time every time. The last problem appeared after about a week and a half of use. I put a new pair of Duracell Pros in them after I got them and it blew them straight through. Now I'm sure it was an issue with my particular keyboard, but that was the last straw. I put it in the closet and returned to Logitech with a K780. Does everything Dell promised, only better. And I was able to use the old Logitech dongles I accumulated from my PC repair jobs.
