I am using all the correct cables but I still have no picture!

I am using all the correct cables but I still have no picture! Nothing about zip. I was told it was an amazing display and I can't even turn it on. I've been working in information security for 15 years, yes I'm using the right cables and everything is properly connected. Until we fix this, my rating will remain the same.
