PSA for prospective buyers: I received the watch with a tag indicating it is a GW-B5600HR-1DR and not the -1JF version. Despite being the same watch, the 1JF is for the local Japanese market (perhaps in different packaging), while the 1DR is the export version. I will keep this watch as I have no intention of reselling it but if I did I would return it to Revain and buy the genuine 1JF version from the Japanese seller which is always in high demand. The watch itself is fantastic. ; One of the most beautiful 5600s I've ever seen. I'm not a fan of negative screens, but this one is clearly better than average. However, I will say that the screen needs good bright lighting to be fully readable with high contrast and crisp numbers. Connecting to the phone was easy and the time was set automatically. The world time zone feature looks cool and I like the idea behind the time and location feature when I travel (which I often do). The ability to quickly set alarms and reminders within the app also looks good. great, and I love that the bracelet only shows a hint of red between segments when it's on the wrist - it's like the band is glowing red, almost like it's backlit. All in all a nice addition to the G-Shock range.
