Review on Pyle 200W Audio Stereo Receiver by Nick Brunner

Where to start? I really wanted this compact receiver to work. We have a small closet with built in speakers in our family room and wanted FM radio and Bluetooth streaming capability. Out of the box, the device looked crappy. The front panel instruments were misaligned (see images) and the blue LED backlight was bright enough to illuminate a dark room. I thought what the heck for $70 am I going to try. The sound quality of both FM radio and Blue Tooth was very poor. It sounded like a 1970s transistor radio at best. The blue tooth can even be cut up to 8 feet from the site connection line. I did not check other features because. At that point, I made the decision to pick up and return. other moments. Yes, I connected the speakers to another larger receiver and the sound quality is ok. I'm not a sound specialist and my expectations for the sound were minimal. The music from this device is distorted. I should also note that I believed the device I received was previously returned. There were several layers of tape on the box and the wires inside the box were rewound. Final Thoughts. I read reviews about cheap Chinese goods all the time. I rarely agree with these reviews. This receiver looks cheap, but with even worse performance. I dare say it looks like a poorly designed, low quality Chinese product. I cannot recommend it to other customers.
