I like to think I can tell the quality of items before I buy them. I also watch video reviews of many tools and when I received the ratchet I wasn't too surprised at how good it felt in my hand. The ratchet function has a very precise quality feel with no backlash. These are popular brands because of the name, but if you're not so unsure and just want to buy the best 3/8 ratchet money can buy, here it is. I packed it with about $400 worth of Milwaukee power tools. If you break one of them, it's only because you're prying something so incredibly rusty that you've got something attached to it to try and use as scrap (which obviously isn't the case). This thing is strong and durable, it will not break in any way unless you abuse it. In addition, it feels fantastic in the hand. time you use it.
