I had a D-Link router a few years ago, so I decided on this model after my Asus router won the return had given up the ghost. What mistake! The configuration menu is aimed at the average consumer with a smooth brain and doesn't have the advanced features that older routers had. Also, I woke up from time to time (about 3-4 times while owning this product) to the router not responding at all. I literally had to go down and reboot the device before it started working again. Well it's a joke! I've never had to do this so many times for a router in my life. Aside from those issues, the performance is complete crap. Regardless of the Wi-Fi performance, I couldn't even stream 1080p@60hz videos even when my computer was connected directly to the router. The video was simply further cropped and buffered, and finally downscaled to 480p at 30Hz. I KNOW the issues must be caused by this product because I connected my computer directly to the wired network that the Wi-Fi router was using and all of the above issues were resolved. DO NOT BUY THIS CRASH!
