This is still a great camera if you use good lenses and have the right lighting. I will say that the autofocus system is showing its age, which means you need to be a little more thoughtful when using this camera. This was my first full frame camera, having owned the 60D, T6i and A6500. Personally, I've found that images are easier to fix when they're overexposed than trying to extract detail from shadows. I'm not sure if others feel the same way, but if you underexpose and turn up the shadows, your image will end up with a bit of noise that doesn't look good. You really need to learn the features of this camera. I have found that the most reliable focus point is to use Single Center Focus as it is the only cross type. I still had back focus when subjects were backlit, so be careful. Battery life is phenomenal, especially with Grip. I wouldn't rely on Liveview either. It's terribly slow, and it's generally better to use the viewfinder. Overall this camera was great for learning and is still very functional. I'd recommend this or the 6D as a full frame starter if you've already invested in good Canon glass.
