So far so good: air fresheners
They seem to be strong enough, even air fresheners closed in the packaging can smell a little. We actually made the mistake of putting them next to the food and ended up throwing them away as they smelled like shoe freshener. Only time will tell how long they last, but I suspect they're not bad.
