Review on πŸ“» JESSON Portable Personal AM FM Pocket Radio with Digital Tuning, Stereo Sound, Earphone, and Rechargeable Battery for Walking by Jake Larson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Very poor reception

I bought this radio primarily to listen to while walking around the suburbs and I had a poor radio experience. With very good reception, I only get a few steps of white noise every few steps. Good reception rarely lasted a dozen feet or so of the distance I traveled. I only listen to NPR (FM 90.9 to be exact) and had to stop if I wanted to continue listening to the program without interruption. I have also checked the conditions in other areas outside of my community like train stations, the city (Philadelphia) and had the same bad experiences. I've never had a problem with the car radio in these areas. I decided to buy a radio because I read in a review that the signal was as good as a car radio. At first I also thought that the screen surface could be easily scratched because one day I noticed a scratch, but it turned out that the scratch was on the screen protector which I hadn't noticed before and removed it. I'm really amazed at how good and bad moves alternated every few steps I took. I was wondering if my device is broken but I didn't get an answer when I sent my feedback to Jesson.
