.black paint on leather will fade if you leave the gloves in the sun. Since I usually park my bike at the military base in front of HQ and everyone knows me, I'm not worried about my gloves, helmet, etc. being stolen. I always leave gloves on the saddle. I usually take my left glove off my fist and then my right glove so my right glove is on top. After about a month I noticed that the right glove had turned brownish. I'm not happy with that. I started leaving my left glove on to make up for the fading and then I just bring the gloves with me so they don't turn completely brown.
