Amazing accuracy. Super thin cut - no burrs. I am a professional artist who enjoys cropping some of my work. I have several reasons why I give it 4 stars. On the "short side" it has both metric and imperial (inch) measurements, but on the length it only has metric. It's just stupid. The small moving paper stabilizing rod (which runs parallel to the length) isn't as accurate as the rest of the device; the free end moves a little. Also, the stabilizer bar isn't entirely smooth on the underside where it meets the printed surface. If you move it back and forth (also very carefully), Over time, the painted measurement lines will be erased! For me this is a serious problem. In fact, you probably don't need to use this part anyway; If you want your paper to have perfectly square corners, make sure your paper is snug against a stop that is perpendicular to the cutter bar. I've updated this review - I'm actually returning this unit and exchanging it for a larger one. This allows you to cut incredibly precise and smooth edges without the slightest trace of waves, cracks or burrs.
