this is perfect. that would be SO helpful, but there is one problem - I didn't size it before ordering. It doesn't fit in the sink where I want to use it. I'm currently living with my sister temporarily and using the bathroom in the converted basement. The countertop is only 1 foot wider and, to be honest, a little smaller than the sink on each side. I already have one of these that fits on the counter but this one offers extra storage and is also black instead of looking like "rustic white wood, farmhouse". I also like that it comes with a protective cover for hot irons. my niece and nephew go to the bathroom which I use quite often and about half of that time I'm NOT with them - having this case would give me a little more confidence that they wouldn't accidentally burn themselves. If you are a hairstylist or just a girl who takes pride in her hair (almost all women) this can be very useful for your space.
