I ordered this mixer because it offers a whisk attachment which I thought would speed up whipping cream. It didn't speed up the process at all, so halfway through whipping cream using a whisk attachment, I replaced the whisk with the pair of whisks that came with the kit. I soon discovered that the inside of the white ceramic bowl I had used for the whipped cream was badly worn and covered in many dark gray scuffs. So far these abrasions cannot be removed and appear to be permanent. When trying to figure out what was causing the fraying, I saw that there were small 1/16" metal extensions/tips on the working end of each hammer. THAT was/is the cause of the scratches. If you have a bowl that you treasure for making whipped cream, be careful.
