Well I have to say they are definitely overweight. Don't get me wrong, they're not even on par with my $150 Audio Technica ATH-M50x, but they're also about 8 times cheaper, so I wasn't expecting them to be like that. The funny thing is, I'd wear them over any of my co-workers' Beats sets. But if I'm such a snob, then why did I buy them? I needed headphones for work, in-ear headphones, or whatever else I could find besides speakers, and while I used more expensive headphones there, I didn't want to worry about carrying them in and out of the office every day. I wanted the middle pair, which was a little cheaper, to stay there. These KZ ZSTs came. I read some reviews and decided I'd give it a try for the price. If they are not ready, I can give them away. In fact, I was very disappointed when I took them out of the box for the first time. I don't have regular 3.5mm jacks to plug them into, so I grabbed a 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter and started trying them out. This is where the disappointment began. I felt the 3.5mm adapter fitted the adapter well as it turned out after trying them on about 4 different genres of music. I was completely wrong. The way they were made 3.5mm (right angle) didn't allow them to fully fit my adapter, I chose a different adapter, plugged them fully in and voila, they woke up instantly Life. Suddenly I was enjoying your rich sound which I was expecting from other reviews I've read. This is definitely a must-have if you're currently using something like your old headphones that came with the iPhone, or maybe some cheap Sony or Pioneer headphones.
