I really checked out that velcro. I cut out a 3 inch piece to test before using for clothing. I've noticed that the loop gets very fuzzy with little effort, but the hook holds onto it pretty well. You'll find that the loop needs to be trimmed down a bit over time, and this doesn't seem like a big issue. I was able to cut it twice and had no problems with the hook getting stuck. It would be a decent cut tab option for cloth diapers because they seem to be able to handle loads. It's a little wide without the cut, therefore, the tongues will be somewhat awkward for those used to branded diapers or diaper covers. I definitely agree with the previous reviewer that this is a heavier product and will likely be a good choice for keeping your child out of the diaper. I know that by the time mine reached a certain age after heavy diaper use, they would take advantage of the loose Velcro. For the price, it's definitely worth buying.
