Don't waste your money on this
This description says you can use batteries for the lights instead of a USB power adapter, but there is no obvious place for batteries and no instructions. The power supply end is USB only. Why does anyone need it? Unusable as decoration. I am disappointed to say the least. The garland is also not very good quality. Several "berries" have already fallen off. I plugged the lights into the USB port to see if they work and they do. Very bright and would be very nice if I could use them with the battery as advertised.
