These should not be confused for high end athletic trainers for serious running or team sports. They are not meant for that no matter what the description says.That said, they are incredible shoes for the price and fantastic for running around town or doing some light walking in the neighbourhood. Because of the waffle weave design, they are lightweight and cool in temperature to wear on your feet.perfect for spring & summer temps. I would not choose to wear them during a big huge rainstorm because of the waffle design, but for normal sunny days or grey days with no rain or just being stuck inside, they are comfortable, stylish, reasonably priced & fit my foot well & as expected.I've owned a pair of the black ones for a month that I use for work & came back to buy these in white because the black have held up well & also to be on trend for spring.
