Good product - great alternative to Febreze or similar products

I have used poo pouri products in the past and liked them and the flavors in general so I was definitely curious to try this. I have dogs and it seems like we're home all the time these days so I'm a bit more obsessed with smells and cleanliness. I tried it first in a large living room. The scent is very pleasant but different. Overall I like it, but I also appreciate that it doesn't really linger or overwhelm you. I love candles in winter and am concerned about scent conflicts. Other brands of "air freshener" or deodorant tend to have a strong or overpowering scent, but not this one, which was great. It instantly refreshed the room - I'm sure the difference would be more noticeable in a more enclosed space like an office, bedroom or laundry room. Spring. Orange/vanilla/lychee is slightly fruity but softened by vanilla and lychee. None of the notes are too strong in my opinion. I also like that it's more natural and less artificial. So why 4 stars? First, for $10, it's not that big of a bottle. Poo-pouri isn't cheap either, but if you use indoor deodorants, you probably use more than one spray. I can't imagine it lasting very long if I use it regularly around the house OR if I want to smell the scent more (and therefore apply more). Second, the subtlety of taste can be negative for some people. I was surprised it wasn't a bit stronger, but it's really a delicate balance and depends on preference. Overall I like the brand and it seems to be working. I think I'll definitely try the lavender version.

Pros
  • It packs a punch
Cons
