NOT disappointing!
Ordering a cheap hair straightener was big news for me (former CHI brand snob here)! I saw a review about it and the technology behind it. My old chi was wearing out and damaging my hair and I needed something that wouldn't snag, straightened my hair and worked in one pass. It did ALL THINGS for 1/3 the cost and it feels so boring! Thought I'd buy and return if it gets stuck like I tried for $60 but no. It makes a weird buzzing noise (that's... weird but could be due to the red light therapy, which works on my hair too). 100% recommend this product, it could be used at 370 degrees instead of my usual 450 degrees and there was no visible tangles or hair breakage even after spending all day in a pony!
