Review on Pro-Tec Full Cut Certified Skate Helmet: Ultimate Safety and Performance by Sean Maples

I've seen other reviews of this helmet with little to no padding. That's true, but what you get is exactly what is shown in the picture. I compared this helmet to the photos on the Protec website and saw how Protec makes them. See for yourself, they have some padding, mostly styrofoam. I bought these for the look and style, just wish they had made them with more padding for better protection. It's a certified helmet so I think it should protect your head. You can always add more padding if you'd like.
