eBay: The third largest ecommerce store worldwide.

I consider it pertinent to divide into two parts my assessment of Ebay, first I will focus on describing the platform and then my personal experience, since my personal experience in turn is segmented in two, at the beginning and today.

Founded in 1995, initially was an auction house and even today retains that as one of its modes of sale, currently is among the best and largest for sale online purchase worldwide, In its development they buy Paypal to facilitate the form of payment and adopt it and as the main method of payment, today one of the giants and pioneer payment platform.

The platform is great, it works very well and each functionality is very intuitive, all very well planned, if something does not work well in a sale a case is opened and paypal acts as an arbitrator to resolve the case, has services such as the Global Shipping Program in which you do not worry much about sending a product that sold anywhere in the world, send it directly to Ebay in California and they send it to the site that is, that's great because it reduces shipping costs and facilitate it to the seller, Another good option is to install on the platform my virtual store and from there have an inventory and offer my products, something you can also do on Ebay is to make Dropshipping or what is the same to be an intermediary between a local supplier to whom I buy a product previously purchased by a person on ebay, I clarify the person buys something that I offer but do not have, to pay, I buy the item to my supplier and send it, it is a risky trade but you must have at all times the certainty that the product will be available to meet.

In short, very good platform to buy and sell, now my personal experience, I started several years ago on ebay, registration was not complicated, the problem is that to sell you have to have your paypal account verified, something difficult in my country, but I managed to activate since I opened a bank account in the United States. My initial intention was to sell antiques to the world, I published a German camera of the second world war, and there I had my first stumble, for being my first sale the amount of the sale should not exceed 500 dollars, I accepted it by mistake and the article was published, the next day I thought of withdrawing the sale but they had already bid, I had to sell it for 500 dollars and its real value was 2,000 dollars, I was harmed by an absurd policy, but it was my mistake to have accepted that condition.
Later I started Dropshipping selling chocolates of a good national brand, and sales were going very well until for political reasons they banned shipments to and from my country. I could not continue sales, a little less than a month ago I thought to resume my sales and I found a way to send and receive, but I was surprised that I have no record for my sales made, which all had good ratings, and now I am limited to only sell 1 item per month, or the amount does not exceed $ 10, it was preferable to cancel my account. I don't think this policy applies in North America, I don't know.
