The stockings didn't reach to the thigh, they reached to the middle between the knee and the upper part of the leg. Others I have from a different brand go to the toe where it is more comfortable. I read in the reviews that they turned out to be small so I ordered a large and it still wasn't long enough, they really pinched my leg at the top because it was halfway and they kept rolling down so I returned it. I wish they were longer and had a different top band to the ones I have which are the same fabric but a little thicker.
