I/We have no experience with tattoos, I have a few as does my brother, but neither of us has ever touched a tattoo machine. Out of nowhere I decided this seemed like a great idea! Our wives disagreed, but that didn't stop us! With this setup, together with about 4 minutes of intensive YouTube training, we were ready to go. Now that I explained that I have no experience with tattoos and even less talent for art, we were ready to put the needle in the skin! It's easy to use and works incredibly well! I've found that when someone draws something on me, I can follow the lines pretty well! I can do freehand tattoos like a champ! This is my new favorite tattoo by the way! Now to the main thing. The only part of the description that struck me as bad was the pedal. I thought about ordering an upgraded pedal with the kit but decided to wait in case I'm absolutely terrible at tattoos, but to my surprise the upgraded pedal is now included in the kit! In fact almost everything people complained about in reviews has been updated! This seller really needs time to update photos and description. The other point was the power supply, it looks better than the photo! Another thing I put off buying is expensive ink. People have complained that it didn't work at all, was weak or didn't do anything right at all, if that's a problem your machine is probably not configured properly! This ink worked great on our tattoos. Very bright and colourful. I hope this fades and goes away as we had some questionable things! Not everything is so bad! But seriously, watch the video and read while you wait for delivery! You will see that most of the bad reviews about this setup are all user errors! If you break it all down, tattoo machines are a simple machine and there aren't too many bugs. You can't just put on a tube and a needle and walk away. If you set it up wrong, you'll end up with a prison tattoo consisting of a brace and a burnt plastic rock. If you don't follow the instructions and learn before you start, just sharpen the braces and go nuts. Keep everything sterile and don't reuse anything, spare needles etc. It's cheaper than infection! Art is forever unless you get an infection and lose your arm or something! Remember this is a real tattoo machine and a tattoo is forever! If it feels painful, it could also be the placement! Some parts of the body hurt more than others! Another thing I recently discovered is that some very talented artists cannot tattoo to save their lives and there are also people who have no artistic talent but can tattoo with a stencil/flash. unbelievable good! Use practice skin or bananas work great before getting that face tattoo you've been dreaming of! Or put it where the sun doesn't shine? Remember I'm not a professional. I'm not even a fan. I'm not even qualified to sweep the floor in a tattoo parlor but after reading some of the reviews and hearing some other stories maybe something from this review can help someone! just as good, but you just keep practicing and you'll get better! Don't give up and it's guaranteed to pay for itself in a single use!
