Review on 🎤 Pyle PDMICR42BK Wired Microphone with 16 ft XLR to ¼ inch Cable Connector in Black by Todd Wigfall

I bought this mic in anticipation of the Yoga 50 which I will not be buying on ebay and also because it is red and would look great for my band on stage. Oh yeah, and it was very cheap (about $22) lol. When it arrived I really wasn't expecting much, I already knew it had a plastic case and I had read a few reviews about it before buying it. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised that the plastic is nice and thick so don't expect it to break unless I try to break it. The curved back fits my hand well when I'm singing (I don't use a mic stand). The biggest surprise was the sound. While it's by no means comparable to a $500-plus studio mic, it's a lot better than the regular mics you'll buy for $20-$40. It captures everything very well (and I mean everything, so make sure you cover the back when playing live and keep noise to a minimum when recording). It sounds a lot better than the Shure PG58 we started with (honestly it's a Shure woofer that's about 8 years old). I'm not a recording expert but we recorded 3 songs with this mic (vocals only, everything else was easy). We did an intro with speech, acoustic with clean vocals and heavy metal with screams. Everything sounds great so far. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cool and cheap mic for demos and live performances.
