Biodegradable garbage bags are very durable. I've used almost a full pack of these bags and haven't had any issues with leaks or unexpected ruptures (which I've heard from the common complaints about other brands of biodegradable bags). The size is ideal for everyday disposal. My advice: don't push them all the way in and always leave enough room to double knot the bag with some of the ends sticking out a few inches. I say this because the material is a bit slippery when tying a knot and I have experienced the weight of a packed heavy bag pulling the knot tight enough to untie it. I don't see this as a product defect, but rather as a limitation of what is feasible. I will definitely buy them again and recommend them to everyone.
